Multi-mode; Multi-Audience Study

A programme of research on behalf of a government department in connection with an incentive scheme to encourage the take-up of renewable heating technology.  The programme included:

  • A monthly online tracking study with domestic applicants – around 850 interviews per month (around 15,000 completed interviews in total)
  • 300 interviews with installers of renewable heating equipment – mainly online but with telephone follow-ups to boost response rates
  • A pre and post stage of telephone interviews with early adopters – 500 interviews per wave
